imo Bayek's story in AC Origins was more touching and the story in AC Odyssey wasn't bad either just depends on your interest of those time periods

My point is GoT made a ubisoft game better than Ubisoft themselves. Better combat, inspired art direction, better visuals, better stealth, etc

It feels like if Ubisoft decided to make a highly polished, expensive passion project.

AC games have felt soulless for a long, long time.

For what it’s worth, I liked what I played of bayek’s story but I couldn’t finish it because everything surrounding it was dull and sloppy. That combat is awfully clunky too

Suckerpunch took Ubisoft's formula, did it better in every way and outlcassed the entire AC IP with one game. Then Ubisoft tried to hit back with their own ninja samurai assassin game (which they should've done like.. over a decade ago anyway) and this happens. Big f***o s***head Ubisoft. They even managed to make a Star Wars GTA game boring.
