This was just on PSN for like 8 bucks (or something extremely cheap)and I contemplated getting it like 3 days in a row but didn't. I bet money if I go on there now it's not on sale anymore
On sale to the 23rd I believe

Oh ok I might cop. Never played it, but the setting always looked interesting to me.
Played this s*** off and on for literal years finally beat it in February…. WTF
Shadows looks amazing

Don't think I ever seen you be able to drag a body (that particular way) in a game before. And it was clean and smooth. Idk ppl be hating of course but they delayed this s***, and the polish is already showing. They might not be playing on this one.
Just copped syndicate for cheap after hearing the update is really good. Always been intrigued by this game because of the London setting
Syndicate looks gorgeous on series x with the new update
But man you really forget how bad these games controlled until you go back, and this’s the “improved” version of the old AC movement, can’t imagine what going back to 2 or brotherhood would feel like

Really solid 8/10 that got overlooked due to franchise fatigue
The combat is easily the best of the pre origins games, and the story does a good enough job keeping you interested. I only played it through fully once around launch, but I remember my only real negative being that it drags a little long.

Just played through 2 and brotherhood, controls were ass but it was manageable
skipped 3 because I played it recently, tried 4 for a while but honestly got tired of all the ship stuff, if it was a side mission it would’ve been fun but the main quest being hours of collecting ship resources and ship battles got me burnt out
Halfway through unity now then I’ll try syndicate, excited to see the update
Playing 100+ hours of Assassins Creed 3 & Liberation back to back recently was tortuous
unity had near perfect movement imo. syndicate felt a tad backwards from that. the grappling line was dope af in syndicate.
still need to go back and play the jack the ripper dlc

I haven't played AC3 since 2013 or smth but I always felt like its story was the most memorable, saw some clips on youtube cause I was playing black flag for the first time and wanted to recap the modern story
Feel like when AC3 dropped we were just too attached to ezio as kids which made me personally appreciate Connor less but his writing was actually amazing at some parts
Shadows looking peak as usual

The main thing that stuck with me even then was that Connor was beating the dog s*** out of niggas. He was the most brutal of the first 4 assassins we played as followed by Edward

i tried replaying 4 recently and i loved it back in the day, but i was shocked how bored i was this time, and i think it was the missions also. Then i decided to jump back to AC2 to see if it was a problem with the overall old AC design, and i was immediatly having more fun with 2, because the missions are actually a lot more varied and engaging. So yeah even after 15 years AC2 still the GOAT

yeah ac2 is a classic that holds up, ac4 in retrospect almost doesn’t feel like an ac game.
I do want to go back and play it at some point because it’s like the only game in the main series I haven’t completed, but i keep putting it off because it felt like a slog
Just finished AC4 for the first time and wow the ending was magical
Might put it right after AC2 for me
It's Brotherhood, 3, 2 for me at the top
still have to play revelations one day
The way they’re showing off Shadows is kinda odd tbh.
Just a bunch of a short clips instead of a more in depth breakdown. Game looks like the most interesting title in the series in quite a while though tbh.

You real af for Brotherhood in 1st There's not many of us but we know it's the truth

Ngl I was way more hyped for Valhalla pre-release
but mostly because it was a new concept for an AAA Game while Shadows u got like 3 or 4 other relatively new releases that covered the same culture and theme
I have Valhalla but always kept it at the bottom of my backlog because of how tiresome it is to complete or so I've heard and I'm a completionist, so I know I'll force myself to suffer

Ubisoft in the past, has shot themselves in the foot by overhyping and overselling their games, so i'm glad they're being quieter.
