Per Jason S, ubisoft looking for sale is part of the reason for delay
That game should've been canceled tbh
It’s not bad but when I start the game and go to do something and it instead turns me around and forces me into a cutscene….
good times
The backwards dated unfun and brain damaged mechanic where you go into the stealth dungeons to find treasure chests
then get given the location of the keys
and then to go back with all the keys, the entire dungeon is reset and you have to stealth all your way back to it again
is so bad lol
It's good though, Ubisoft knows everything is riding on this game and it seems to be shaping up nicely, I can wait a few weeks

Tencent knocking
Damn this is the first time in a long time that i'm seeing Ubisoft be willing to take their time to polish a game lol. They can't screw their first full PS5 AC.
Meanwhile you guys should replay AC Origins. Smh i think this is underrated.
I feel like this isn’t good for them Switch 2 gonna be dominating the news around then, like the console might be releasing around that date even

I don't see the correlation
I don't see the correlation
The first new Nintendo console in 8+ years is gonna be dominating the news cycle, especially since we got like 6 assassins creed games in that same timeline. It’s not like gaming news has infinite bandwidth. It’s why games are scared to release during gta6, same concept.
Especially for someone like me, if the switch 2 actually releases in March that’s what I’ll be playing, I’ll just wait, and then when ghost of yotei releases I’ll have forgotten about shadows and might never even play it
Whereas if shadows releases during a dry month like February, there isn’t much else going so I’ll be playing shadows instead, and it’ll have more room in the news cycle to shine
In Nioh 2 they're in a DLC if i'm correct? I only played the base game.
Yea dlc I think
i shouldn’t have said anything
i'm super excited as well, but i rather the disappointment of the delay than the disappointement of a bad game

true and february got avowed and yakuza pirate so i’ll play those

February has Monster Hunter, Avowed, Kingdom Come 2 so it's not that dry, and I think as long as it isn't releasing right next to Switch 2 it's fine. I don't even know if there's much crossover between Switch and AC fan base, AC is like the single player version of COD in terms of casual appeal

Avowed and KC2 I’m personally hyped for but I feel like AC is more mainstream
Monster Hunter is a big competitor however, I forget about that one
However, there could be much bigger names dropping on nintnedo’s launch day, so If mar/apr is the switch 2 release month then there’s gonna be so much hype it’ll definitely be overshadowed no pun intended
Idk about the fanbases, I hadn’t thought about it like that, you may be right actually
They haven’t even released the game yet
