You're basically telling him to become incredibly fake and manipulative and see others as profit

That will send someone feeling down into a deeper hole than they started with

he said "destroy your soul and suck off 1000 corporate suits to be middle class and you'll feel better"

    @op

if you can't make friends then take in content from business people, read books, listen to podcasts, interviews etc of people who do what you aspire to do at the highest level and apply what you view as the cores of what shaped their success to your life.

once you start to view your life as a business and your goals as the profit you'll get (even if not financial but just on the level of achievement), I think it gets a bit easier to focus on the grind and what you are going to need to add and subtract from your life to achieve your goals

there is no success in life that doesn't require sacrificing extreme amounts of time and energy for. If you feel like a 'balanced' life is more important than your ultimate goal, it will be very difficult to stay motivated and focused.

one of my biggest inspirations Michael Jackson was very dedicated to digging into the subconscious and training your mind to believe your goal is important and that they are possible to achieve, I have found a compilation of many of his quotes and training methods, so hopefully you find them useful or at least somewhat inspirational, hope you get a chance to read it.

    https://truemichaeljackson.webnode.cz/thoughts-and-ideas/on-studying-and-success/

"We can program ourselves to be the person we want to be, whatever the subject matter is, live in it by a mental physical program- a system of learning and doing. Studying all the greats in that field and becoming greater.

I believe we are powerful, but we don't use our minds to full capacity. Your mind is powerful enough to help you attain whatever you want."

im so tired of this life s*** and feeling depressed man. i literally have nobody in my life that cares about me, not even my own family f***s with me. im tired of working these s***, dead-end jobs with s***ty pay and not pursuing my dreams. the f*** is the point of me living if this is what i have to look forward to for the rest of my life? i wanna travel and see the world while making music dawg, not living in this s***hole that im currently living in rn. somebody on this forum just come and kill me man im tired of this

Do not unalive yourself. I have to ask you, because I was in a similar mindset regarding music making for about 10 years until I made a serious life decision/change...

How do you envision making money off your music? Do you have an actual plan or are you just making music, releasing it with virtually zero real promotion and marketing, then complaining about the results? And that's not even counting if your music is as high quality as it needs to be to cut through the extreme over-saturation of the industry.

You have to come to the unfortunate reality that there really isn't much money in this s*** anymore. Streaming simply does not pay. Very few artists can even have garner enough fans to do a tour for themselves, let alone even get on a festival stage. Producers are needing to be on the credits with a million other producers in order to get any placements or a few dollars at all. Artists are needing to essentially be 6ix9ine or Soulja Boy with the social media antics to get any real attention that'll cut through.

So with all of that said... Can you let us know how you actually plan to "see the world while making music"?

If all you gained from what i posted up there was to become soulless and a corporate d***sucker then that's just your mentality. I can't force you to change your mind. But I feel like if he listened to this type of advice and truly lived by it, he would be inspired by his goals and further away from unaliving himself.

op said that his dream is to be traveling the world making music. Do you realize how statistically improbable it is to achieve that? and I don't even mean on the celebrity level, but just to make a living off of music and have it be your only job, unless he wants to teach kids instrument lessons at their house or teach a band in a school, the likelihood is very low.

I'm just trying my best to motivate op while also being realistic about the amount of work it takes to get where he wants to be.

there's people like Diggy Simmons who were born in the lap of luxury, had every possible connection to the music industry possible and still fizzled out. let alone all the people in the world with just a couple dollars and a dream.
You just wanna discredit my advice bc you see me as a regular nigga on ktt. If Jay-Z met op and told him this exact same thing nobody would question it.

""You say it’s not me no more, b****, you the same from the old you
I swear y’all just look at greatness and think somebody owe you"

    -- Yeat

    "Rockin' s***, I made a career, ain't about what I made in a year
Been through s*** but I'm here, everybody say I'm top tier
And I ain't even really blossomed for real
Made a mil', but I be grindin' like it's impossible still"
