21 Savage is not a street rapper

21 probably has more crossover appeal than Baby and Yak so, if that's what we're going by, then I guess he could be deemed the "hottest." Jack Harlow could be deemed the "hottest" too by that same metric.

But, for a rapper who's not particularly mainstream friendly, doesn't do collab albums/tours with Drake, doesn't link up with the hottest producers like Metro, etc., Baby's numbers are pretty damn incredible for a relatively street rapper(I don't think 21 or Baby are too "street" like people say).

My Turn's still high on the charts(24th best selling album this year) and the best selling album this decade. It's Only Me also went Platinum and was the 13th best selling album this year. And his Durk collab went Platinum too(while Savage Mode still isn't Plat).

When you factor in how many stimulus packages 21 has compared to Baby, it makes Baby's run seem more impressive tbh.

I've also seen more people in the hood stan Lil Baby than 21 irl.

As solo artists, Lil Baby is undoubtedly a bigger act than 21.
21’s numbers this past year were heavily inflated by Her Loss. He went from 2.4 billion in 2022 to 6 billion in 2023 without any new solo release. Clearly a direct result of the Drake collab album.

21 has a few years on baby in terms of game relevance and seems more at the forefront at the moment. Anything could happen ig, but overall he seems to have more staying power to me.
