age 24. realizing that i don't actually have the time or energy to keep up with a full-time girlfriend, full-time employment, and full-time graduate school.

i had to give up one of them because i was veering close to burnout -- something i've never experienced but was regularly warned about. i knew i was reaching that stage because of my general apathy towards most things, and the extreme stress i felt under which resulted in me smoking weed daily at night.

I think you should get role models to look up to if you feel old.
