Yea it definitely made me angry but I had to remind myself it was temporary so I could put some funds in my pocket since I moved to a new city solo.
I quit after a few months

i used to think i was old when i was 21.. now im mid 20s. i feel younger than ever and feel just starting out my life maybe because i've started to really focus on myself and creating a good life for myself. it's all about your perspective and mindset. as long as you don't buy into the hivemind mentality of there being certain milestones you reach by a certain age then the world is your oyster.

you make whatever you want out of your life and you can change paths any time.

Aside from that job situation, I feel and look good at my age. I'll be 30 in a few weeks. I decided to take the more nomadic approach to life so I don't measure my success to everyone else.

But that situation definitely made me feel weird.

Also I'm from south central and moved to a mostly white area in DC so it made sense that these white kids have a better head start than me. I already knew what it was. He was a uni student.
