I remember back in the day nobody thought he was a corny rapper but nowadays he is in the same category as logic, hopsin, joyner, g-eazy etc..

    When did this start? Revival?
    smh

He became corny after he went back to black hair. So id say the Recovery era. Pop songs with pop artist hooks became his go to which is sad compared to how he made music before that. He should’ve just stood on the Relapse wave. His flow was still flawless and entertaining. And his voice pitch sounded good too. Now it’s just high pitched with a off beat flow.

Precisely when he dropped Berzerk and MMLP2...

He became less counter culture, very poppy and was more rappity rappity.

Revival took it to new levels. That was the first time I passed on an Em album. I skimmed through it and never came back.

He’s always been corny, but corny doesn’t have to be an inherently bad thing. He just became truly awful in 2010.

Despite being rappity rap I thought Rap God was amazing and the ahdhehahxhdhs you assuming I'm a human what I gotta do to prove to you I'm superhuman line was incredible.

Relapse was so good... it's unbelievable how everything changed within a year... Dre was a huge creative influence pre-Recovery.
