i thought xxx was danny's worst period of life. he was pretty down bad on that one.

not very similar but AE is a wild ride of an album. SRS really clicks though.

Danny himself would probably say SRS. There was a stream he did where he was drooling over the album and said he was listening to in on repeat and singled out red water especially

    Some rap songs for me

  • Mar 5, 2021

AE and it's not even close

  • Mar 5, 2021

AE but I kinda feel like I don't like to relisten to it much either

  • Mar 5, 2021

    Its AE

Atrocity Exhibition is better and IDLSIDGO is Earl’s best project

  • Mar 6, 2021

    SRS for sure

    =

  • Mar 6, 2021

    i enjoy srs more

  • Mar 6, 2021

some rap songs just hit different. no disrespect to Danny but he peaked wit XXX

  • Mar 6, 2021

    Atrocity Exhibition

  • Mar 6, 2021

Tough, my edge go to Earl tho

ooh okay this is an interesting comparison

I listen to srs a lot more because of its brevity, and yet still find something new in earl's lyrics like every time

but ae has more diverse production/vocal deliveries that I probably would appreciate more if I listened to it more often

If I had to choose one just based off relatability I would say SRS, cause like the themes of failed potential and losing mental clarity hit home quite a bit (still cry after every listen of Azucar)

whereas AE is a bit more going off the deep end through hard d**** which is definitely harrowing but just not as resonant with me (I know d*** use is a huge part of SRS too, I'm just saying there's more to the story there apart from it, at least imo)

that being said, Hell For It has been kinda in the back of my mind the past year or so and becoming quite relatable these past few months and it's been a long time since I've sat and heard AE so I'll have to run it back soon

    TL;DR

I like and listen/relate to SRS more but I like the production on AE more and need to listen to it more often

  • aaaaaaaaaa

s*** i rank Old over AE

With the Avis you have I have banned you from giving opinions on music

  • Mar 6, 2021

Mannn that’s extremely close for me

AE is slightly better imo. but SRS is an experience like nothing else

  • Mar 6, 2021

    Atrocity exhibition without hesitation

  • Mar 6, 2021

    srs

  • Mar 6, 2021

Srs by a lot. Only ae song I really go back to is downward spiral while I listen to srs front to back at least once a month. Idk if Danny can top xxx

  • Mar 6, 2021

How was SRS released in the worst period of his life? It’s his happiest album yet

  • Mar 6, 2021

Anyways I still play SRS weekly. AE is great but it can be too much

AE and its not even remotely close. SRS is legitimately hard to get through unless you listen to only the bars

  • Mar 6, 2021

My two fav rap albums of the past decade! Slight edge to Earl
