I have no idea why this even happened

Warner Bros. were killing it with everything they were doing, dropping bangers after bangers making it one of the most beloved production company in film and television

Now they are owned by probably the worst company of them all?? i hate that MY entertainment is being played with by greedy billionaires and I have no say in this Monopoly game who don't care at all about their consumers

We're officially on the timeline where I never financially support any Warner Bros media ever again

Didn't think I'd be skipping Battinson 2 in the cinema but there's nothing I can do, it's out of my hands

    Goodbye Warner, goodbye DC

Larry Ellison is the largest private donor to the IDF

  • The real story: a 42-year-old with a rocky box office track record just assembled the largest media conglomerate in history, financed by his father’s fortune, Middle Eastern sovereign wealth, and $57.5 billion in bank debt. Netflix walked away richer. The question is whether Paramount can service the debt load while linear TV revenue keeps declining or whether this becomes the most expensive content library acquisition ever assembled on borrowed time.

I will never vote for Gavin Newson, but if he nukes this deal he can gain early parole from the rehabilitation camps.

Its not guaranteed tbf. Regulatory hurdles won't be smooth even with good graces of Trump allies... Funny timing for a leak huh

Paramounts the only party that could walk away losing money. Netflix is up $2B and WB would be up $7B. Zas is delivering value to shareholders regardless which is his job. He's shown enough he doesn't actually care for Ellison.

Issue now is that 6-12 months would cause a limbo for significant new projects

I think you have to tell employees it’s BAU until it’s an absolute done deal. Cause the worst case scenario for Zaslav and WB is the acquisition being announced leads to a mass exodus of talent as people assume future layoffs, then the deal gets scrapped and WB is crippled from the process.
