agree about the first part but all that s*** in man of steel was bad and made it a worser film for it.
assuming you're talking about Supes killing Zod. It's not like he hasn't done that in past iterations but in Man of Steel it actually serves purpose. Killing the last of his species to save one human family only brought him closer to finding his humanity - he's indifferent to being a savior for mankind for most of the movie so it makes sense.

Welp there’s no hope for DC
Given the importance of DC, it appears the top filmmakers operating in that world — Matt Reeves, Phillips and Andy Muschietti — will be shielded from that sharp Wiedenfels knife. One agent with business at the studio says De Luca and Abdy are talent-friendly, decisive and a vast improvement from when the studio sat under AT&T and Jason Kilar. “From where I sit,” he says, “it is night and f***ing day from before.”
Ngl it would be funny as f*** if Nolan ended up working with WB again under this kind of technicality
Monopolies lmaoooo
But this would open the door for Universal to replace their Marvel land with DC and Disney could get full Marvel rights at Disney World

Cole Bennett was set to direct a 300 million budget movie for one of the biggest movie franchises before the Warners Bros change. Was gonna be his first time directing a movie too
