I feel like Zeke knew Levi was gonna attack eventually and probably did something to move himself from the nape

Bro what, this episode was the best cause the cgi blended amazingly with all the scenes, even the beast titan which was arguably the most off looking one from all the titans looked great

tbh don't think i'll ever love how the attack titan looks, but they really killed it this ep.

Yeah i don’t know how anyone can view this episode CGI as more Blatant than last episodes and even then it’s not bad CGI

This was by far the best animated episode this season and it’s not even close. One of the best animated episodes in general

Nigga makes me uncomfortable lol. It only really worked for me during the nutcracker scene since eren looked unhinged

given all the circumstances that comes with animating this series + expectations set by the production committee and all that, they've done a great job so far.

what really put it into perspective for me was the fact that the levi vs beast titan scene in s3p2 took like 3-4 months to animate & the scene of levi running away from kenny and the others took a month. didn't realize it took THAT much effort to animate this stuff.

Fell off the manga around chapter 100 but after that new episode, I'm picking that s*** back up ASAP

I noticed this too in the nutcracker scene, the attack titan looked really bad to me. Everyone else was in love with the whole episode tho so maybe it’s just that all the hate made me pay more attention, since I never had a problem with the CG before

I will say in that scene I didn’t notice that jus cuz I thought the attack Titan looked so sociopathic in that instance that I was jus shook watching that scene play out

I was moreso talking about near the beginning of the ep with the Titans moving around while the soldiers tryna attack them

probably wouldn’t feel (as) sus if you didn’t already know from the manga what was gonna happen

ah ok i feel you, for that scene i had already read the manga and saw a clip of it on youtube before subs even dropped so i was probably just predisposed to nitpicking s***

i do remember them moving kinda clunky in the scene you're talking about but i didnt really take too much notice, it just felt like business as usual to me there.

Normally I really love how the soldiers move, I’ve always felt it’s some of the greatest blend of animation/ movement I’ve seen in anime but yeah looked less convincing in this ep

Last ep it looked incredible though

Well 1st time Eren fought Annie and Reiner he was just understanding how to use the Titan power

Against the War Hammer he had no idea about the abilities

And against the Jaw didn’t realize they claws and mouth were that strong

It goes both ways though to be fair.

The most OP ability Eren got is the ability to control Titans
