every character has some goal that comes out of their past experiences, mainly childhood, and is forced to do a lotmof f***ed up stuff to get what they want. they way everyone is written makes it so you can see their reasoning behind every decision and how it is justified in their eyes. since there is no one right answer to any problem in the story, if you look at any characters pov, without bias, they are doing the "right" thing

I was a manga reader after season one read manga monthly til 2019 but stopped during Marley arc it’s taken all my willpower to not read it right now

in the anime right now, zeke wants to euthanize all eldians, and grisha wants freedom in marley and maybe revenge for his sister

zeke wants a future without titans aka no more eldians

grisha wants a future for eldians outside of his city walls

i think eren is the only one to get what he wanted by using both zele and grisha, although he aligns more with grisha

The manga isn't REALLY better than the anime, in fact the anime is better in some regards tbh and has top tier direction

Think they are different media and can't really be compared. The anime is naturally more immersive, and also helps with setting the tone a lot better than the manga.
Manga is usually more detailed and fleshes out ideas a better, prefer the anime tbh

Except for Falco's brother, as nice a guy as he is, he doesn't add enough to the story to be given a name, even fodder characters lot Louise and were more fleshed out, he's the odd one out in all those warrior mettings

Levi x Zeke was much more intense in the manga (also, AoT has a fantastic soundtrack, but bruh, I couldve done without the corny ass rap they used during their fight)

Zeke's backstory also felt rlly rushed, but that's understandable given the anime's limitations.
