It is listed for 12 episodes, and interestingly enough leaks have stated that the season ends around chapter 130/131 when the rumbling first starts

i'll believe it when i see it, would be very convoluted to have your anime just branch off to pull one on readers

it would for sure, but with the whole set up of "paths" that's been there for a good while i'm not gonna totally rule it out. i'm willing to see this thing out

I'd be surprised if they went this way, but ngl some of these observations are pretty convincing

seen things similar to this, and he left a lot of details out/misrepresented others. it seems crazy but there are more details that lend credence to this theory so I'm willing to not totally dismiss it

feel like there's absolutely no way we're getting an anime only ending. that vid in particular kinda felt like every single other theory for the manga's ending (i.e. "it's been a different timeline the whole time!!!").

curious to see if we do end up getting one though. my interest was piqued when i saw the VAs talking about the potential of a new ending (think i posted it a page back), but don't think anything'll come of it. though i will say, if isayama wants to do a new ending, the opportunity is there since it looks like there's only gonna be 12 eps this season. do a new ending w/ a movie?
