basically nothing happened this episode compared to the previous episodes

Great episode, after 3 episodes like 78, 79 and 80 we needed some sort of a breather, and this episode while not as amazing as the aforementioned 3 its great.
The transition from paths to real world at the beginning was so clean
The titan scenes reminded me so much of the battle of trost, i got so nostalgic, titans were threatening for a while again, but our heroes are prepared and mature, they not getting defeated.
Connie acting like a dumbass like always but cant blame him, that's the only chance hes getting at saving his mother, still wonder what will happen, there's no way falco dies like this lol.
My girl gabi trying her best eren impression in that mirror scene lmfaooo, loved her this episode, this is character growth
Every scene involving mr braus is so great and important, we really need to get out of the forest Niccolo you right, this circle of hatred is destructive
Yelena whole episode was in shambles, was kinda sad about that, need my girl yelena to be freaky and batshit crazy.
Shadis had such a lowkey but cool growth, man truly cares about his cadets, even saving them after they jumped on him, truly representative of the children in the forest theme, there's no need for revenge or animosity in these trying times. Crazy how eren by doing this has united everyone inside of shiganshina, but we're still left wondering why eren couldnt control the titans, dont have an answer for that right now so im looking forward to it.

And the end scene, armin and us viewers figuring out annie is free at the same time thanks to what Gabi tells us is cathartic and hype, what is she gonna do? I bet its gon be her vs the world, she wants to live, maybe she'll try and save her father too although idk how can she do it, i also found cool how the episode started with annie's father and ended with annie, dope s***...

TLDR: eisode overall was great, although not as mindblowing as the previous one, and a great throwback to season 1, having in it all the highlights of that season, from the action, to the themes presented, to the characters returning, first of all annie, to the tension of titans coming back even if just for this episode

It took eren becoming the writer and having godlike powers to take reiner's plot armor off, maybe he can die now

Love episodes like this that flesh out in a great way the themes of the story and can show off some great secondary character moments
