the general consensus is that a movie (or something to that effect) will be announced at the event next week. but yeah, "final season part 2" is the "end" of the anime, unless they end up announcing a part 3 instead of a movie lol.

Tbh there's nothing too much to say about this episode, most of it was great action. I liked that they repurposed a few scenes from last episode that would be important for this one. Yelena's remarks about violence with levi's reaction and of course the connie and armin scene are both important for this episode, as the battle between two previously united factions is ongoing. Interesting that hange lays out a timeline of the rumbling giving us an idea on how much time they have, hopefully they can stop it before it causes too much destruction, and jean's weird flashback when hange namedrops liberio was weird idk what that was maybe they'll show us more of that, or maybe they forgot to show us something from last season.

If in the last episode the titans fight felt too one sided, reminiscent in some ways to season 1 annie arc, this episode recontextualizes their position in a more developed paradis, making them only a temporary threat, and thus making this battle more tense.

Falco stepping in was cool, need my boy to do something, and unfortunately now he'll get his hands dirty too, but if he wanted to make a difference he had no other choice, and i poved him struggling with his titan powers, didnt get that at all since season 1 and it finally felt like a big deal. In general there are a lot of season 1 parallels this season, especially the past 5 episodes.
Connie filling up levi's shoes was a sentence i never thought i would have wrote, but here we are. He killed daz and Samuel he has no tears left to cry.

Mikasa slaughtering the jaegerists was sad, we were so used to get hyped about scenes like this with her, even in season 3 part 1 when levi and the others were slicing and dicing humans people were hyped af, but the context makes everything worse. She doesnt even enjoy it, the shot with the bloody rain coming down on her was great, and reminiscent of the Armin op 2 scene.

Falco's transformation was cool and the titan itself was kinda weird lol, the jaw keeps evolving, and this time its got a beak and another set of teeth.
Floch going for the final kill dropping it all in desperation was amazing, crazy that it took him realizing he was done to show some courage and determination instead of hiding behind a gun, hundreds of soldiers and his authority. And like many other characters, he too shows his true self in his final moments, he wanted to be the hero that saved eldia, he wanted to be like erwin and eren, and in a way he ended up like eren, being shot by Gabi

And finally, the last remnants of the older generation sacrificed themselves for the newer generation and for the greater cause, and my boys magath and shadis went out like the real ones they were, and its interesting that both got to know eachother because they're similar in a lot of ways. Like last episode, it ends on a tragic event that brought a lot of death, and seeing eren's face after that makes me feel some kind of ways
