A Gold Coast woman has lost custody of her children and been convicted of assault after smacking her son on the bottom with a spoon because he spent $600 on video games.
The court heard the child had used the unemployed single mum’s credit card to make $600 in purchases on video games in March.
The prosecution said she confiscated the gaming console before grabbing her son and hitting him on the backside with a plastic spoon she’d retrieved from the kitchen.
The boy then kicked several holes in a wall.
When I was a kid I got my ass spanked every time I was on my bullshit and now parents getting booked for the same
What we should be talking about is predatory mini-transactions in mobile games

Europe banned that s*** because of Fifa games. It became legally recognized as gambling.

Kids on spectrum and she actually bruised him. She gets to see her kid twice a week until she gets them back. Nothing more to the story
