You don’t think Steve traveling through time and messing up timelines was a factor in their discussions around Kang becoming the big bad for their next Saga?
There’s no way they ever decide on Kang and don’t address Steve’s actions whatsoever
Not at all. I know with endgame they wanted that to be their BIG movie and have this big send off for two major characters and have a moment. Which they did. It was great.
Was Kang even a factor at that point? Whatever they drew up after endgame is what they drew up. But for the time when Endgame happened; that was originally a send off.
Nobody complained that No Way Home brought all the villains back from the DEAD I'm just saying
not a soul
2nd one would be alright but the directors, actors and writers all saying thats a perfect place to end Steve's story throws a wrench in that.
Even if they wanted to bring him back, bringing him back into the same movie that RDJ is playing main antagonist and bringing him back by making him the FIRST teaser of this film just looks funny to me
I’ve already conceded that the way they’re going about it seems to be a reaction to their recent trajectory, but I firmly do not believe that the idea for Chris returning was birthed out of the same reaction. RDJ was though.
And we’ve already established numerous times anything MCU talent says in interviews cannot be taken seriously lmao, they lie and deny and about literally everything
Marvel if you’re doing Mr Sinister please let me write the X-Men, its floor in quality will be Into the Spider-Verse, its floor in Box Office will be Inside Out 2
Connected film niggas itt get this to Marvel please I’ll give you a cut

Kang appears at the end of Loki Season 1, which had Michael Waldron hired as its showrunner back in February 2019, three months before Endgame released.
Kang had to have been brainstormed since 2018 at the very latest

I deadass been thinking about it ngl on some you can do anything even if you’re the little guy type s***
Judging by this some of y'all are gonna HATE Secret Wars lmaoooooo
and niggas never read the comics or seen the animations!!
Avengers: Doomsday is lowkey doubling as Civil War 2. Except now Tony Stark is the legitimate villain, who is in the right. And Steve Rogers is the hero, who is in the wrong.
I say this somewhat facetiously, but I totally see where the "Civil War 2" will come into play.
In the Secret Wars (2015) comic, when Doom does become God Emperor, he does have some heroes on his side because he did succeed in fixing the universe(s), earning their trust reluctantly. Also it's not like they'd be able to do much to stop him since he's the god emperor of Battleworld.
So who can one of those heroes who will likely be on his side in the Secret Wars movie be? T'Challa. The one who is from Tony/Doom's timeline. This will explain how we get a new T'Challa for the golden timeline again.
Going back to what I said in my first post about Tony/Doom being able to exist in the golden timeline since Tony/Iron Man sacrificed himself in Endgame already....it was Tony/Doom who was secretly pulling the strings between Wakanda and Talokan to gain control of Vibranium, as a reference to the Doomwar comic in 2010. I believe that T'Challa will turn on Doom when he discovers that he was responsible for the golden timeline's Wakanda to fall into chaos.
At the end of Secret Wars, I believe that Tony/Doom's timeline will cease to exist, resulting in that timeline's T'Challa to crossover into the golden timeline, since that T'Challa is already dead.
If I disappear within the next 48hrs...I lived as a simple truth-teller.

It’s all speculation bro. We don’t know. But once again, no I don’t believe they was thinking pre-endgame “hey let’s have Steve be connected to Kang”

Do it fam and I’ll finally write my midnight sons script

Real s***, Mr. Sinister needs to be the next major villain going into their new X-Men/mutant focused era of the MCU.

yo man you too loud, you not tryna see Christmas or sumn??
If Marvel weren't stupid f***in cowards, they'd give Jonathan Hickman the reigns for the next era of the MCU and let him adapt his true vision of the Krakoa era of X-Men to film after they foolishly robbed him of it in 2021.
It’s all speculation bro. We don’t know. But once again, no I don’t believe they was thinking pre-endgame “hey let’s have Steve be connected to Kang”
What I’m saying is: do you think they were really having discussions about setting up the famous time-travel villain whilst completely ignoring a lead character’s time-travel actions after introducing said time-travel villain?

This would be so hard.
We about to get a mic drop tweet from DiscussingFilm on a random day in 2026:
“Damson Idris has been cast in ‘AVENGERS DOOMSDAY’
In theaters on December 18, 2026.”
This would be so hard.

@fader im not sure if you touched on this but one thing I’m not seeing talked about is after endgame Marvel thought X men and F4 would be the next big thing and what they wanted to put the major focus on. But obviously COVID and other factors pushed that back by a lot.
Hell we still don’t even have Blade and that was a huge deal when the fox deal happened. It’s not hard to believe that niggas thought in 2021 “hey let’s see what’s good with Chris being he’s an already established face in MCU and this F4 s*** might take some time”

coates' BP and cap runs were soooo hard too, they need to give the reigns to people who actually give a f*** and have something real to say

Bro yes. Sure.
Like I said, endgame was intended as a send off for Chris Evans. You’re playing hypotheticals where we don’t even know if Kang was a thought pre-endgame. It’s speculation.
So again, during ENDGAME, the plan and execution was to do a send off for Chris. Which they did. Obviously things changed after.

I feel that but the plans were only pushed back by one year, and we still don’t even have a release date for X-Men yet. I think their plan with the Mutants was always to focus on them after the Multiverse stuff, so that way they can send-off the Fox Universe and introduce the new cast of mutants simultaneously.
I believe that Phases 7-9 will be The Mutant Saga

How is it speculation? Kang was a major part of the Loki series, and the showrunner for Loki was hired in February 2019, before Endgame came out.
You seriously don’t think Feige & Co. were establishing their 2020s plans before Endgame released? They said they always have a rough outline of stuff mapped out 5 years in advance, so back in 2018/2019 they would’ve known where they would be by 2023/2024
