What I’m saying is that Kang was chosen as the Big Bad of the Multiverse Saga, and the project in which he was introduced was in development before Endgame’s release.

Due to the nature of his character being wrapped up in time travel, it’s not a stretch to assume that Steve’s actions would’ve been taken into account if they were playing with the idea of introducing Kang.

It’s like… let’s say there was an Infinity Stone referenced by name in The Incredible Hulk back in 2008. The logical conclusion one would make is that Thanos would be introduced at some point in the future, right?

It’s the same with Kang and time-travel. A major character like Steve Rogers affecting the timeline as much as he did would absolutely be brought up if Kang’s name was being thrown around in the writers’ room. There’s just no way they would’ve overlooked that

I rlly like the cast they have now but it depends on how committed they are, like the F4 NEEDS to be a staple of the new MCU. ~10 years commitment easily. not sure if any of them have signed the multi-film contracts that used to be the norm back in the day

The simple truth, whether there are people willing to admit/accept it or not, there is a superhero fatigue. Which makes sense given that people haven't caught onto the multiverse saga after Endgame. And...James Gunn is gonna have an uphill battle earning people's trust after that Zach Snyder DCEU horseshit.

All in all, I don't mind the fatigue from the general public because the superhero movies that came out this year I enjoyed for the most part. Thunderbolts, Superman, and Fantastic Four were still solid even if they didn't make as much in the box office as Marvel and DC had hoped.

Let superheroes return to being a niche, if it means the movies themselves will return to good quality stories and characters

would love for nothing more than this but unfortunately impossible considering who is making and funding these movies not even being dramatic but if doomsday/bnd/secret wars don't perform (and I think they'll do numbers), I feel like the future of the mcu is looking real murky. these niggas severely ramped down/cancelled stars wars movies like they were nothing...licensing will always go hard and keep things afloat but who knows about the films themselves
