comics are not perfect, are hit or miss on big event stories and have a fanbase that complains just as much if not more than CBM fans. i'd get it if there was an authentic adaptation of a classic happening here but thats not the case

It doesn't say as villains but i doubt anyone a year ago had that context in mind particularly with RDJ being Doom instead. Casting so far hasn't really mentioned Hulk or others who clearly still exist in MCU

They bet on the wrong characters and projects.
Should have dropped the Fantastic Four movie earlier, dropped another Doctor Strange movie, recasted Black Panther and have another Shang Chi project ready. A couple other changes and they'd have a strong set of leads ready for these movies.

The problem post Endgame is that the characters at their core just aren't as iconic as the OG cast and they don't even appear that often, leading to no connection being generated between them and the audience. There is a general quality decline of all the projects too.

Just take Thor pre-Endgame for example.
Iconic character, appeared every other year keeping audiences engaged in his story and the only dud overall was Thor 2, rest of the movies were entertaining at the very least.

There should have been another lower stakes Avengers like project before this too. Civil War level or Age of Ultron level where the stakes aren't entire universe or timelines.
Would have helped establish an actual team as well.
