F4 was always that element you needed to introduce relatively quickly after Endgame and i think they just assumed they could drag their feet on this. Like everything they've been planning for years now have hinged on F4 villains or stories with heavy F4 involvement and now they're kinda caught having to make stuff up because they didn't prepare.

It was mind boggling enough we were doing multiple Kangs without F4 and now we're jumping immediately into a Doom that only exists now to highlight RDJ playing him

I never understood why F4 wasn't ready to go after Endgame. Feige knew with decent certainty that the Fox deal would close meaning he should have had a napkin list of the cast, main plotpoints, potential directors and writers. Deal closes, ball officially gets rolling same day, and the movie is out Nov. 2021-March 2022. Even with Covid, it probably could have made that.

From what I do know there's the chance of Skaar/Hulkling from She-Hulk. Wiccan from Agatha. Then there was the Eli kid from Falcon & the Winter Soldier who could become Patriot.

There is a concept of a team that is forming, and I can somewhat see the vision.
