All steak is not $40, there are meat and halal markets everywhere that sell $20 steaks or even cheaper.

    beefy the body

Do you baste before putting in oven or just after? Curious as to how the butter will taste after being in the oven too

tbh i dont believe that basting is necessary if u flip while searing reasonably often, either way its getting cooked in the butter

i never had an issue with the butter in the oven, i dont think its hot enough to really burn it, but in theory you could pour it out before putting in the oven

  • Dec 15, 2023

most important thing tbh is jus not over cooking or undercooking it

but undercooking isnt so bad cus u can just heat it up more

get a rib eye, salt and pepper it before cooking, add some oil to a pan and a generous amount of butter as well as two crushed garlic cloves and some thyme

while it cooks on high heat, keep spooning the butter in the pan on the steak, once you got nice browning on both sides pull it and let it rest 5 minutes

  • Dec 15, 2023

Just steal it from big corporate grocery stores

    Free steak

    Cheap steak doesn't exist sadly

oh word maybe just eat a d*** then

  • Windmaster

how u cook steak depends on the thickness

if its thick, u sear it both sides then throw it in the oven at 350 for like 10 minutes

if its thin u sear that s*** both sides then maybe put the heat lower till its cooked inside

either way unless you want to destroy your pan youll want cast iron, cook at med-high temp and remember to use the oven if ur not sure if its cooked throughly

seasoning is simple, butter, garlic, salt and pepper

Rosemary too for flavor. Don't forget the rosemary

  • ROLF

Don’t forget to baste with butter, garlic and herbs (thyme and rosemary) for extra flavor

Aahhh s*** you know the drill
