The mass majority of people didn’t really know or weren’t educated on the topic or even knew of it as an issue until the last 7 or 8 years, most people just ignored it

Let me explain the difference
Azealia fanbase is also mostly LGBT,she is Bi and she's also again mentally ill and prone to ranting on EVERY community because she's manic.
People are gonna feel differently about what she says vs two straight people who by all accounts are fine mentally and make money off their homophobia.
DaBaby doesn't go on rants about groups of people often his one time was LGBTQ and Candace is a right wing republican who helps real politicians.
Azealia isn't gonna be treated the same as them because she has her own set of unique circumstances the same way they do.
I don't like her as a person but objectively she's got a real excuse for her rants DaBaby and Candace just hate homophobic.
