I don't even know what he's trying to say in here. He called TMB mysterious core music and on the first page he said Kendrick a legacy act because of MMTBS
He does it in every thread. It's like he posts any obvious bait he can think of to get people to argue with him
That’s a bad faith reading
A couple comments like “mysterious core” may be made in jest
But unbiased people know I raise actual points about pgLang and the way it’s looking so far.
Morale and Melodic Blue were a pair of steps backwards. And damn near marginalized their impact to a niche audience by going too far left at a big moment. That artistry s*** is cool but idk about that strategy to start a label. They shot themselves in the foot
Idk if he has been more successful than Party
Definitely has more successful than PND. Who has by the way has Drake stimulus three times and hasn’t done much with it.
Keem has a platinum album. I don’t think PND has any.
Don’t remind them 😂. Keem has been more successful than every artist from Dreamville and OVO not named Drake and J Cole
No way you think Keem is more successful than PND.
Party a real life legend
Didn’t work? Literally had his first album go platinum
Had a top 20 record and opened up for the best and biggest tour of all time.
OP’s gimmick is apparently judging people on their looks. Was doing the same in the Mr & Mrs Smith thread

Platinum debut album and highest grossing rap tour (at the time, don't @ me Drake stans) don't sound niche to me, but aight

its not about artistry its the fact that morale didnt have a lot of enjoyable songs an tbh i dont rly fw keem music like that in general cus of his production style, if he was hopping on hyperpop beats i might fw it more
JID got more monthly listeners currently. And ironically Keem boxed himself into JID status by being a sidekick and going in a less commercial direction
Them listeners from the ceiling challenge and the imagine dragons song

HYPERPOP ???
It’s not entirely a record label but a label is at least part of what they are.
I think they more a management/distribution company than a record label. They license their music to record labels

The tour was off of Kendrick’s reputation that he built on his previous albums and as a live performer and isn’t really correlated with the album. If the correlation were there, then surely the album itself would’ve been a more resounding success, but it’s impact was muted
Platinum debut is cool but keem’s ceiling was once higher than it is now imo. They basically chose to present him as a sidekick to a declining artist over potentially making his whole own brand and impact. Keem didn’t have to be marginalized into the JID/Reddit rap audience he could’ve been more successful sticking with his original less pretentious/artsy vibe and have more women fans and casual fans that way and probably feel more current
HYPERPOP ???

I do honestly feel like ugly people don't deserve to make it in the entertainment industry. And I'm saying this as an ugly dude
