I don't really like the album but I wouldn't call it a disappointment. Keem has definitely much as an artist and person. He can get to the music now he's explained his backstory

S*** sounds better with every listen, his rnb bag elite

lack of cadence, he always had such fun flows and melodies, just felt really dull outside of a few songs.

I dunno maybe it'll grow on me but initial impressions fell flat

My 1st listen was just okay too, but every listen after it gets better and better

Truly one of the best rap albums this year

i think although the subject matter he rapping about is serious and sad as s***, he still makes it digestible with versatile flows imo

I’ll give it sometime for sure, those were just my first impressions but there’s a few songs I enjoyed off rip.

I listen to this every morning I wake up, perfect way to start the day

I had a perpetual stank face throughout my first listen

My girl recently talked about how she loves the album because it shows both extremes of going to actual casinos

High energy fun, feeling on top of the world from winning

And the rock bottom feeling of losing it all

legit gets worse with every listen too, I wasn’t mad at it the first time but I can’t see myself revisiting it again

So interesting how much a listening experience is so different

GKMC obviously but this is still incredible

gkmc is damn near perfect album BUT

this is such a great sophomore release, especially when compared to keem peers in his generation

it wouldn’t surprise me if a 13 year old heard ca$ino and felt a level of inspiration i felt when i heard gkmc at a young age
