Game looks like a mix of Dark Souls + Nier Automata + Devil May Cry 🔥🚨

They said a lot more info in the summer, so it'll probably be a late 2020 or early 2021 game.

If it's 2020 then it's a must cop for me along with my other must cops of Cyberpunk 2077, Nioh 2, No More Heroes 3, Ghost of Tsushima, Resident Evil 3 Remake & Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

It was originally going to be single player focused only, but square wants a lot of their s*** to have a multiplayer element.

Its suppose to be 1 to 4 players for campaign now, with additional modes.

The teaser trailer from the ps4 state of play looked pretty interesting, I thought the last 2 years they were just refining what they already had but instead it looks like somewhere in between those 2 years a decision was made to turn this s*** into a multiplayer live service game

Its built off of Nier Automata's engine n template.

Its basically a multiplayer PVE Nier Automata with a Dark Souls aesthetic & difficulty.

Its like Nier x DMC x Souls in a blender.

Yeah it wasnt originally multiplayer. U can see that from the og trailers i have in op.

They then went silent for about two years, n i think square forced Plat to rework it into a live service title.

I still have hope in it since it is Plat at the end of the day, but its obvious af this decision was made during Square's high on Marvel before that s*** crashed.

Feel bad for Plat. They almost always get f***ed whenever they try to partner up with a publisher. Only Nintendo seems to be good to them.

Yeah that's what I watched and was like this looks good. I hope it's just not a DS clone. Then I saw the updated trailer and yeah, man Square needs to stop trying to make everything a live service. Those things don't work out well.

I think the game would have came out this year if it wasnt reworked to have a heavy multiplayer element. Sucks.

Not a fan of the aesthetic tbh, once you get too many different coloured energy balls in your game it cheapens the artstyle imo
