True
But James Brown still made quality music throughout his entire career regardless, doubt he ever went through entire eras of nothing but garbage like Eminem
James Brown is a certified legend. The man is responsible for pioneering how many genres again? Hits on top of hits. On Top of that. He's your favorite artist's favorite artist. MJ, Prince, Mick Jagger, Janelle Monae, etc. wouldn't be who they are if it wasn't for his influence.

off the top of my head James Brown inspired the entire persona of ODB
@theDonandOnly said that most of James Brown's albums are great
He was was in his prime for decades. And I think they are good for the era and what you get on them. But he wasn't trying to cohesive albums like how we think of them now, so they were a bit compilation sounding sometimes.
James Brown has one of the most cohesive sounds out of all the artists of his era, so even a compilation with him has more cohesion to it than the average compilation.
He does have classic albums like Live at the Apollo and Payback too
honestly as a creative it is so freeing to not give a f*** if your s*** is good or not
just make what is true to you or moves you
because chasing perfection will make you go crazy
and the niggas we chase who are "perfect" probably weren't trying to be perfect
so why should we
nahmean
I agree, look at Kid Cudi. One good album, and nothing but mid afterwards.
You tried so hard to bait people with this
Hood Digital- Smoked Pork
Be Peaceful, Be Courteous, Respect Everyone, Obey The Law, But If Someone Puts Their Hands On You..Send Him To The Cemetery.
for sure. I micro-canceled him and will only play his music again somewhere around December, but that still doesn't unmake what he did to all of us
