Stuck out badly on the album
i love how this song sounds tbh
Huncho Jack the worst
Idk about overall but nothing on HJJH is as bad as outside, pure terrorism
Maybe yall should say whats wrong with the mix instead of just posting a song
I second this.
Listening to the songs ITT I haven't heard anything that sounds particularly bad. I always thought mixing and to a certain extent mastering were tools used to get the flavor or mood the artist and engineer wanted for the song.
While at the same token. There are certain things that cannot be fixed by a mix at all. For example. I believe Mach Hommy's vocal mixing on songs is an artistic choice. I believe the sound of Jay Electronica's last album was an artistic choice but. I also believe Jay Elect's verse on Currensy's last project was poorly recorded and no amount of mixing was going to fix that.
Shiny S*** Theory definitely
Only true for Hov’s verse imo, sounds fine until then
this one
Omg the bars on this are so bad lmaooo
@2:06 when Danny Brown's feature starts
!https://youtu.be/YRhlki5tUhQ?t=126This is a good example. If you listen closely to Danny Brown's verse there is another beat under it. Why? who knows. It's possible Danny recorded his verse without headphones and the beat bled back into the mic while he was recording, maybe he sent his verse back with the beat already on it and the engineer tried to salvage the recording by eq-ing out the low end and low mids which holds the majority of the troublesome frequencies in a beat but also is what is making Danny sound so boxy and far away.
I wouldn't say this song is mixed bad. The first verse, beat, and chorus sound fine. I would take it a step further. The fact that someone was able to make Danny's verse listenable and lyrics discernible is a testament to the amount of mixing that went into the song.
Maybe yall should say whats wrong with the mix instead of just posting a song
Thank you lmaoo
Music Video version only
Song aint even that bad, why they put it out like this tho
Been listening to the "nas trilogy" all weekend. The sound quality of Cormega and Foxy's verses is jarring compared to Nas and AZ's.
if mixing is bad enough even the casual listener is gonna pick up on it, they probably just won’t identify it as bad mixing. they’ll just say “why do their voices sound like s***” or something
most 90’s horrorcore songs are mixed like s***
i mean but you also gotta consider the equipment used back then
