my thoughts is me playing alone my adhd brain would get bored. Lots of reading and figuring out skills lol. Just one of those genres that are hard for me to get into

“Baldur's Gate 3 is a big RPG. A great, big, uncompromising RPG! It shows in the numbers: more than 170 hours of cinematics and featuring three times more cinematic dialogue than all three The Lord of the Rings novels combined, a library of more than 600 spells and actions, and plenty more.”

One playthrough will be more around the 60-80 hour mark. The 170 hours of cinematic content is stuff you wont see through dialogue options, different outcome of quests, the choices you make and paths you take etc.

Yeah. Even still, this game is gonna be f***ing massive.

I put like 20 hours into it with 2 friends and I found myself just looking at my phone for a lot of it. It can be fun but f*** I would get so bored while my friends are just positioning everyone just right and looking at stats or whatever

definitely happened to a friend of mine and divinity os2
I personally wouldnt jump into it directly as a coop. Especially when its your first crpg. You gotta learn the grove and find your own fun in these games. Getting dragged around wont be fun

Wait fr? They told me to NOT play alone at all lmao
If I ever had time I'd think about starting a solo one up

why did they do that?
coop is so chaotic. From my experience you miss out on so much roleplaying. Like story, the impact of your choices and especially the great companions. At heart this still is a story focused game.
Your coop party constantly bullshitting quests is funny but not the hook of the experience imo

Ok I'm glad I said something cause I have been Lowkey pissed they convinced me to drop 60 on it (one of them roasted me for thinking that's expensive for an early access game)
So I might find time to do a solo campaign at some point now
They made me wait to even start it until they planned a day we could all start lmao
More time to finish up AC6
Probably jump straight from this to CP 2077 2.0 + PL.

well I hope you like it. I cant make any promises crpg are definitely more of a slowburn genre.
But their catch is definitely not multiplayer since most dont even have it.
You pretty much gotta enjoy the roleplaying stuff. The game offers you endless choices and the companions respond to it. Like fallout new vegas except probably even more roleplaying and obviously entire different combat
