He doesnt need magical artifacts when you meet Elminster the first time and he gets his suicide mission

Also pretty sure he asks you when you reach specific milestones so not endlessly often anyways

He stopped needing them for me way before I met Elminster, like 10-15 hours before

(I just did and whewww so excited for this quest)

Karlach and Wyll interactions are so amazing man omg

Curious if The Mountain Pass is considered part of Act 2, because I see many claim it’s part of Act 1, but my PS5 has my current activity marked as being in Act 2.

Currently about to infiltrate the monastery that has the gith crèche.

I think thematically it fits alot more into act 2 cause thats where all companions get a major turning point of tension that gives them motivation to go to Baldurs Gate

My progress is saying the same thing and I know for sure im not on Act 2. I've already been to the monastery but im not done with it yet,need to level my group up some more. I'm doing the Goblin Camp side quest right now.

On my second playthrough and doing the githyanki creche for the first time. Maybe I'm under leveled or don't have the right party set up. Getting f***ed up

Still haven't finished my first yet. I just really love different characters and rolling with different party members.

First set up I had the classic paladin with gale astarion and shadowheart. So it was legit as generic but fun as you can be

Now I'm a elven monk with laezel, and I'm figuring out the other two, but in guessing I might need to keep gale around. Was kind of wanting him out of this party but I think we're gonna keep him around for this one.

Where are yall actually seeing what act you’re in, is it like in a menu somewhere? I’m at like 50 hours and no way I’m not in act 2 yet, but I havent seen a mention of it anywhere

No there isnt something in the menu but you get an achievement

too many playthroughs needed. Gotta decide on another good guy playthrough to climb Mount karlach or try durge

So many quests are unbelievably satisfying when you play a more neutral redemption urge. Like you f*** up and can still do the dark urge quests but the game allows you to turn around and come out as a hero with some amazing dialogue

It works so well with some of these companions and is extremely satisfying.

I thought the same thing then I got to act 3.

There's a lot of "damn they threw everyone at me" moments so far and I'm not sure if I should keep rolling with what I got, or figure out a different class or group.
