SPOILER WARNING: I donāt know why my spoiler embeds arenāt showing for me?
||Gauntlet of Shar is about 2-4 hours worth of content in and of itself. A few puzzles and boss battles throughout. Important point: make sure youāve done everything in Moonrise Tower you needed to do - I.E. rescued the Tieflings/Gnomes before you fully complete all of the Gauntlet of Shar. It should prompt you (I think) at the very end of the Gauntlet before entering the final scene there.
After that, the final bits back at Moonrise Tower is another hour or so, Iād say. Then the game moves you into Act 3.||

Personally I really like Act 2 ā I think the reason I do is because itās so linear and character focussed. Shadowheart is my favourite companion so I really enjoy this run of the game.
Plus, I think itās kind of intentional from the devs ā Act 2 is linear, dark, vast, and gloomy. Act 3 goes into Baldurās Gate which is densely populated and gives you freedom to just run around the city.
really excited for act 3 which ive heard is not only the densest act in the game, but offers so many conclusions to plotlines started in the first two acts. i've done everything in the tower based on what you've said so it seems like it's time to wrap this section up, thank you! good looks

TRUE.
No.2 is real af
Goddamit me and 2 homies having so much fun. One is playing his first crpg and we just not telling him s*** letting him discover everything. Its really fun since he just stumbles through this s*** and we have to solve the issues he created (fight the fights) like he is Monkey d luffy from one piece
Arrived in that druid camp in the beginning of the game, and just realized how big this game will be lol
WOW first time I met this npc I thought there was gonna be more to it. Didint expect this to be for a fan...
addicted to these
start of act 3 has been crazy so far holy s*** being handed all these insane quests left right n centre
Any recommendations for when I should do the murder tribunal in Act 3 as Durge?
Does it feel like a more late Act 3/Penultimate quest given how much, I assume, it ties into that character story?
Or should I beeline it (and as an aside, save Laeāzel in the process )

You can do it whenever really, but it does feel like a more penultimate quest. Like right before you go for Orin
I played that Yurgir boss fight like a b****
got the job done though
Thereās a way to beat that fight entirely without any combat and just passing persuasion checks. So funny

I remember feeling overwhelmed at the start of Act 3 on my first playthrough for this reason. Just take your time with it and explore how you would on Act 1

ambushing them was way more satisfying, there is enough dialogue in this game give me combat
