i agree to an extent, cars should be limited within city boundaries and we should focus on mass transit like cable cars, rapid bus and heavy rail and making cities more walkable. highways within city limits should be reduced and replaced with green spaces, plazas, etc as well. cars are very useful for long distance travel though

The railway system is already strained enough in my country with overcrowding and theft of infrastructure. There's no way it should be the main form of transportation for the entire country
