Alice was a Paul WS Anderson invention, she was never a Resident Evil character.

Have 0 f***ing clue why she wasn’t just Jill.

but the images from my childhood were always as a sexy woman, if they try to receate the series ima NEED DAT

Also, the reason she wasn't Jill was mainly becuase Jill was a side character to Leon and not the main protagonist, they was tryna make a strong female lead in all the right ways.

By the time the movie dropped (2002) Jill had been in 2 games (3 if you count the remake of the first as a separate game), Leon had only been in RE2.
Also, Jill was at that point the only character to have a solo game (RE3) whereabouts all the others you could choose who you played as between two choices.

Oh yeah interesting, my b, i wasnt playin the games back then, mainly watching the movies.

Paul WS Anderson gave us at least 2 classic RE movies. Be grateful

The Netflix show was the worst thing to ever come out though.

Re7 movie would be crazy but honestly a remake of the first film would be hard too, weirdly

The last joint was faithful, which was awesome to see, but it just didn't have the oomph it needed

There are no good RE movies, but I’ll say those two are watchable

Given Barbarian, I could 100% see this being an RE7 adaptation. Big creepy house, psycho redneck family, sort of a dark comedic undertone.

It’d fit so well.
