The RE games already feel like playable movies at this point. I’d only expect this to be a watered down condensed version of that.

I wonder if he does a different approach for this reboot and adapt 7 to start. Have Chris come in at the end and make the next one a prequel that adapts the first game. Jump back and forth between present day and the past similar to how the games are doing it right now with new entries and remakes

Weapons has an interesting premise, a director/writer coming off a super successful debut effort, and a stellar ensemble cast… why is it releasing in January?

It was originally August 2025, which also a weird spot for an ambitious horror ensemble, but then it got pushed to January after the strikes and a bunch of recasting scheduling stuff.

The same producers and studios as Weapons did Companion this year, which didn’t do incredibly well but kinda set a January precedent for them to hopefully improve on next year
