Fandango got $15 off two imax tickets (the $15 basically covers the difference between regular and imax where I live)

This looks so good. If they adapted the game’s stories into a movie it would be a trash b movie. The stories are by far the weakest parts of RE. Nothing makes sense and it would make for a terrible movie.

Was hoping Suzi would be more level headed about this, but it seems like she’s falling more into the “Zach Cregger isn’t a true fan” type of toxicity.

Guess it’s not that surprising since she’s basically the de facto RE content creator, but still, kind of disappointing since a lot of people kind of look to her as the outsider voice for the series.

Seems like it’s fairly set in stone that regardless of quality plenty of people are gonna claim it’s bad without having even seen it in the first place (and actively refusing to before formulating an opinion) or just straight up hate watching it.

Wouldn't be terrible but yes, the take that it's just a B movie is correct.

Nah, it apparently gets f***ing WEIRD with it, outright grotesque with its monsters, the comedy seems to be primarily situational, driven by the main character’s lack of experience further highlighting the absurdity of the situations he’s finding himself in alongside his reactions.

I don’t foresee there being all that many out and out jokes and one liners. Very in line with his previous films, but this one he’s described as easily his goriest and most uncompromising.
