Ken and barbie. We did Oppenheimer first then dinner nearby. Finally met up with friends for our Barbie night. Just got back home lol

Jul 23, 2023Doing both in the same day was some of the most fun I've had at the movies in a while. It was cool seeing people either dressed up or talking about seeing both.
I'm also sooo glad I started with Oppenheimer first and Barbie second. Feel like the reverse order would've bummed me tf out

watched Barbie at 4 PM, left the theater with the sun still shining (best way to leave) was a great summer vibe and appetizer for what was to come...
got lunch with friends and grabbed snacks to sneak in and stood in line for 2 hrs to see Oppy
Oppenheimer in IMAX at 9:35 PM, left at 1 AM. movie looked insane on that screen. Watched in the biggest 4:3 ratio imax around me and holy s***tt my eyes were being jerked off.
Each movie was great but honestly seeing them both in the same day made both movies even better. crazy cinema experience
already nostalgic for this

copped both movies on 4k disk so I can do a barbenheimer anytime I want from the comfort of my home
