Cut your own hair for free. What’s a few patches?

I pay $15 (usually 20 with tip cause it’s cash only and I might not have smaller bills on me). Good cut, all business, plus not much small talk cause he doesn’t speak English like that. Goat

My first barber who I went to for four years bumped the price from 15 to 25 so I left that place. Second barber upped the price from 20 to 30 so I said f*** it and started cutting my own hair.

I ain’t been to a barber since Covid really started hitting and I been teaching myself. I’m halfway decent now and I can walk around without hats on without looking like a clown

It's on the more pricey scale of a men's haircut but imagine how much women have to pay.

Also I have long curly hair so i can't get it trimmed and need someone who can use scissors so that's a different price range.

I am in LA, used to pay $25 2 years ago and then it became $30 I believe at the very end

Then I didn't get a haircut for 2 years (long story) and now I see most barbers in my area are $30-45.

Just paid $40

Their businesses have been heavily hammered and I can see why they have upped their prices even more this year
