Kanye hasnt been the biggest voice in the culture since 2007(arguably 2010)

He’s still a huge voice no doubt but He doesnt control the culture like a lot of ye stans seem to think

He respected and loved but there are whole big sub sets out there who relaly dont gaf what that side of rap is on. Only person from that side that has crossover with the rest of the culture is prolly Abloh

Yeah tell that to the tlop era and everyone copying him.

    are you 50 years old?

WTT everyone and they grandma was wearing leather everything

2012 EVERYONE and they grandma was copying the DONDA style single covers

I don't even need to talk about Yeezus

2015 no album, still the most relevant, and ended the Nike Roshe's career

Like Yeezus, TLOP not need be discussed

So for 3 years Ye hasn't had the cultural influence he had for over 10 years..... okay?

LMAO I'm more than okay with Ye taking the back seat to focus on creating homeless shelters, bringing jobs to Murca, and innovating architecture. Idrc if he chooses to do that over printing cheap Gildan merch with dope graphics.

What that got to do with Kanye’s influence peaking in 2007-2010?

    That it didn't peak then

Ye didn't even have a proper sneaker deal in 2010. Or an actual sneaker in 2007.
If you're talking about strictly music, that's cool, but then stop using the world culture as if culture doesn't pertain to much more than music.

niggas stay rewriting history over some dumb MAGA comments. I would even say he still influenced people to wear baggy pants currently and most fashion brands still see Yeezy as a huge influence lol.

Sneaker deals cool but carving out a whole new lane and kinda deading gangster rap while introducing new ways of dressing seem a bit bigger 🤷🏿‍♂️

Yea and that would be his peak if he didn't literally redefine what it means to be a celebrity specifically after his 2010 comeback lmao.

Like I said before bro you're arguing his musical influence, and I really might agree with you that it was somewhere between those years.

But cultural impact, I think it's silly to suggest that Ye impacted more of the overall culture in 2007 or 10 than in 2016.
Like in 2016 Kanye was a pop culture icon it was farther than Hip-Hop.
