"I no longer care about the man that brutally murdered my daughter and I now care about the man who got 250k dollars"
I have typed this out like 10 times over the last 20 pages. You going to get quoted like you are a nitpicker and called cinema sins we got to just accept it lol
Normally I’m not like this but like the writers set the bar high for this show. Not to be a snob but I am lowkey expecting bulletproof writing when I watch this

not bulletproof lol. this isn't a nitpick. the show been outlandish with many things dont get me wrong its not a show about realism but for Moss to never even address that he held barry captive then to have gene in a room and let him go too is baffling. Bro has worked outside the law system all series

I mean the show has done a great job of intertwining absurdity with a strong plot trajectory. This felt sloppy rather than another example of absurdity in the show

Fair take
Having said that that was a pretty brilliant way to end the series
Great take as a sally enjoyer
My only question is this:
Is it me or does it seem weird that Jim just went with the idea that Barry wasn’t culpable at all? Like it feels off that Gene is taking ALL of the blame. Jim has seen enough over the series to know Barry wasn’t an innocent guy
Yeah but after believing Cousineu was manipulating Barry all along, it changes his perception on Barry's actions added with the fact that Gene murdered him in cold blood

The scalpel stuff was absolutely Cinema Sins tier.
The Jim stuff is just a weird hangup. Sorry he's not the only faultless character in the show. You clearly had some showdown fantasy that wasn't met. Instead they used his character to critique what he represented. It works thematically. It works tonally. It works narratively.
