Man that movie at the end had me so dead

and then lead with a cliffhanger of Fuches getting out of jail or something with season 5 being all about the build up to the end of the show. idk I think they kinda just stuck some s*** on the wall cause Bill and the writers thought it would be funny and said let's do that

absolutely f***ing not that would’ve killed the momentum and made the show wayyyy too long. cmon man actually think about that vs what we got

the whole show is silly. it's a fitting end. a show recap on a movie at the end was so unnecessary. woulda been fine with the ending being with the scene of Sally driving home too

the movie was to show that Barry’s character was redeemed in everyone’s eyes, and Gene was forced to completely take the fall for not only the s*** that Barry did, but also killing Barry in cold blood all cuz he didn’t let Barry turn himself in and set the record straight. it was to show that the series ended on a tragic note for Gene, but also a tragic note for everyone who will go on thinking Barry was an honorable man, including his son and, not to mention Sally who knows the truth but is forced to live with everyone else believing a lie.

basically everyone was f***ed because of Barry, but he got the best ending. they went with the most ironic ending they could’ve

imo that made for the best possible ending

i loved this season don't get me wrong.

but the way the last episode fizzled out was kinda annoying

show recap was one final dark humor and to give his son any point for existing. Without that show recap ( I understand why it didn't work for you) you don't get son reaction, moss resolution . It would be missing something

Nah I think that would be dragging it. I still think complete in this season. I just think some characters were so cold post time skip that episodes with Sally Barry focused were . Having them serve the kid a frozen pot pie, traumatize with baseball injuries, give him alcohol. Then magically care about him in the end is like "okay" .

lol I assure you KTT will be a lot better if you don't spend time thinking you are smarter than others because some piece of writing connected with you that didn't connect with them or vice versa

John was entirely unappealing. We didn't see his creatioin. He suddenly existed. For multiple episodes we questioned if he was even their child because of how hard they pushed the cold parents angle. John added absolutely nothing to the story and was placed there for an ending payoff more than anything. Has Barry been looking for a father figure all show? Yes. But giving him a son that doesnt even know call of duty exist in the middle of nowhere . Barry being hyper religious / soul less lol

I do admit the Barry caring that much about Abraham lincoln then getting killed by an actor like Lincoln is hilarious
