Not hating

Just saying it’s noticeably a little choppy this season. Season 3 was perfect and may have set the bar a little too high even. In any event this has still been extremely enjoyable and great

I don't dislike the season entirely to be clear its a different vibe. I liked the more humor and dark humor of season 3 that balanced it right. Barry at the beginning of this season differs very little from Barry now towards the end of this season which is now 8-9 years from where we were episode 1 of this season. I get it. he is broken. Religious . Sally in a s*** situation. Jim Moss a dumbass last minute and got people on here saying he should be a dumbass. NoHo Hank was a funny little romance with cristobal who he risked his live to save multiple times only to basically kill him . Like this season has managed to defy expectations or predictions some were dope and unexpected but some felt out of character to me.

It is what it is. Its not like this season is terrible. its just different. Show was a solid marathon before this season for me.

there are the people that got hyperbole and get upset when you have a different opinion than them. Then those that are just chill and say why something is hitting different for them.

The jokes were funny in this episode. This is the Barry I like, but Moss leaving Barry like that was some jarring, boneheaded writing, wtf was that. I'm not confident that next week's episode will wrap everything up nicely either but I'm curious. It's been a journey.

That kid is the most sympathetic character in the show. He's messed up for life now

man, I thought I was alone but I'm not surprised that others have also started this show way back, left it hanging and came back to rebinge from beginning til now. there's a part of me that feels like the emotions would be crazy had I followed it in real time. and now...I'm caught up right at the very end lmao

this show has made me feel all types of way. it's an emotional rollercoaster tbh. I've died of laughter at a lot of scenes and how stupid and unrealistic s*** is but that's what makes it perfect. I love that everyone is obsessed with this show. I was deadass reading ppl's live reactions from the other closed thread

I can't wait til Sunday night

it's obvious that the amount of episodes and ep length helped me breeze through...but this show could be 45 mins and it'd still be perfect. hopefully the finale is longer than usual

season 3 I was still somewhat in it. Making Barry near emotionless for final season has definitely made it a drag even if I get what they are going for.
