Also HBO kind of f***ed this show over by putting it after Succession
Succession has been emotionally devastating on its own
apparently it’s getting way more viewership but this show deserved it’s own moment
I’m suprised to see so many people not really liking this season .
And I really really love all the surrealism this season
Hank gets out of a car right in front of guys with assault rifles trying to kill him and somehow he manages to avoid all of the bullets Then they just ignore him to keep shooting at a stationary car
Just realized that this is the first “prestige” show I’ve watched live from start to finish
Everything else I either picked up after ending or only caught the final season of.
Aight I got a theory
The shot of Barry and Moss at the end of the episode is a flashback to before he became Clark. He was rescued from that scenario by Hank, who wanted Barry to kill the Chechen Mafia for killing Cristobal. In exchange, Hank helped Barry disappear as Clark, and is covering for him (why he’s dismissive of finding Barry for Fuches). Fuches is the one that actually snatched Barry outside of Gene’s house, and he has sent his gang out to grab Sally & John as well (with info he got out of Hank).
We’ll see in a week how far off I am
im mad i read this because it was like 3x better than what we got
Barry has been much better than succession to me
this season of barry hasn't advanced much for me. almost to the point where a season 3 ending would have been perfect for me

yea this episode was all over the place. glad it happened in the second to last episode tho.
then again the episode when Barry wiped out the whole house by himself and not get hit was wild
Not feeling this episode so much

Well i thought the hank getting out the car was more of a comedic thing, did through me off at first tho lol

I hear ya, I loved how it slowed down personally, because now I’m super hype for this ending
this season some schmid tbh
what if hank just gives him fuches address instead of the actual location lol
this season some schmid tbh
I like this show a lot, but it's definitely starting to feel repetitive. Ohhhh X double-crossed me so I'm going to send Y to kill X. Oh no now Y double-crossed me so I'm sending Z to kill Y instead
I thought the time jump was a bold / good move for a switch up, but they kind of just put the same dynamics in with the characters a few years later

ya its like they know the point they want to end at but they had to figure out how to fill out a whole season of television to get there too

Yeah :/ definitely would've worked better as a 2-3 season series, some of the tropes and characters got old quickly. First few seasons had some absolute classics in there

It's been pretty great tbh but that fumble in this most recent episode has me a lil worried that the ending might be trash.

There's a lot of moments in the show that don't hold up under scrutiny. Jim showing up exactly when Barry was about to kill Gene, Barry fighting that martial arts guy in a pharmacy (which would definitely have cameras) and evading all those cops, the police not finding Janice's car even though Barry could not have hidden it far and Fuches finds it by accident
I was willing to overlook the unbelievable moments in earlier seasons because the tone of the show felt more comedic. It's like this season wants to be taken more seriously but I can't with all the plot holes

Season 3 episode 6
Legit a perfect episode imo
