I’m being charitable to WB which they don’t really deserve at this point but I’m gonna guess it’s a case of way too much money being poured into that movie + contracts with actors/agents/managers/VFX people and everyone involved that it needs to be released in theatres

Batgirl maybe like Snyder cut has contracts that couldn’t have shifted its format (like how snydercut was gonna be a mini series but contracts meant it had to be released as a movie) and since the statement says they’re focusing on theatre experiences, this movie got shafted since it probably can’t just be put in theatres 😭

First he’s forced into the SUMC by Sony in absolutely awful post credit scenes for a bad movie; completely breaking continuity set by the movie Sony was trying to piggyback off of.

Then all the Ezra bs happens basically making him the person that’s gotta carry The Flash when it comes time for PR.

Issues with the Flash cause it to be pushed back to after Aquaman, forcing reshoots replacing him with Batfleck.

Now this movie, that relies on The Flash, with his second return as Batman, is scrapped.

Can't wait for them to use the money they save to f*** up BOTH/ALL THREE batmans + 2 jokers they bout to have running concurrently
