Seemed like he was going for a grounded in realism approach but that could easily change with the next movies. I agree though that they shouldn't do that but I don't know what else DC should do at this point, that seems like the best route

I’ll keep saying it: how the f*** is WB - a studio with a million properties to focus on - supposed to pull off an entire universe centered around one brand? That needs its own studio. They just need to let the cinematic universe idea go

I think they can do a cinematic universe, it just doesn’t need to be on the scale of Marvel. They can still make one off things and totally separate continuities as well as a basic universe to build upon if it’s appropriate for the story they want to tell.
