I think the lines and texture on the purple leather type thing take the production value up on it.

Like maybe they coulda done it fancier but she’s not plugged up with money originally like Bruce is. Coulda gone with a different iteration also but for the purple and yellow suit she’s worn over the years that’s pretty much it

Not much of a batgirl fan but I remember liking that costume whenever she was in other batbooks. Felt like they gave her a new life and color scheme that separated her from Batman

I think this is a case where comic accuracy and setting the movie in 2022 regardless of whether it’s their first year or not looks silly
