No cross play and they expect this to be the cod killer? Lmfaoooo
Still buying tho
People will spend $70 on a single player game you'll spend 15-20 hours on but not a multiplayer game where you'll spend 100 or more.
real lmao
Has no cross play been confirmed?
Don’t thinks so but rumor is last gen can’t handle it
Has no cross play been confirmed?
I feel like it would of been a huge selling point and it would of been announced by now, still a chance with E3 and stuff or beta announcement but I wouldn’t hold my breath

I mean if the campaign is classic I’ll play it forever, I just played BF4 campaign again the other month
i dont wanna be the graphics nerd but those visuals in the trailer they showed weren't that great, just barely better than BFV
obviously it's cinematic even though it's in-engine, but hopefully the gameplay has better graphics
So they’re really doing specialists?
Not all the way out but my hype has drastically decreased

Lets not act like bfv graphics arent already great tho

They're just subsets of the class system with high customization
Assault, Recon, Support, Engineer
Each class has a specialist, like operators in MW2019, except the specialists have unique gadgets to help them contribute to the class role they're in
They'll be highly customizable with outfits, so worrying about "clones" is a non-issue, unless a "meta skin" emerges that's difficult to see
The only valid concern I see about specialists is that they're too individual, in that their backstories and the ones with first and last names (Maria Faulck for example) is just too specific. The ones with single names and less identity (like Casper) work better, and take the "hero" away from hero shooter
Essentially though, they're just like MW operators, but with gadgets that help them fulfill their class role

Yeah they are great, you're not wrong
I started playing it for the first time a week ago and they really do look clean, just a more cartoony art style
If the BF2042 graphics retain BF4's realistic/gritty artstyle with enhanced particle and physics effects, with better textures, It'll be great
Seems like it'll be a mixture of BF5 and BF4 graphic styles though
I need Rush to be popular again and for them to bring back Damavand Peak
This is why I'm excited about the ability to play against bots. Obviously I'd rather play against real people but assuming that no one will be playing Rush like always at least I can still play against bots.

am I the only one that thinks BF5 graphics were worst than BF1?
am I the only one that thinks BF5 graphics were worst than BF1?
Agreed, 1 looks better. I enjoy the photorealistic look more
I also thought 3 looked better than 4

I was just thinking that tbh

MP looks more interesting than what we've gotten from cod this year or the upcoming ww2 game

Feel like Frostbite has been ahead of its time though.
BF1 looks better than alot of 2021 games still
Battelfront 2 looks better than most of the recent games aswell
I don't mind the fact that the graphics aren't improved much compared to the previous because theyr'e already so f***ing good
WIth just 1 mod Battlefront (2015) looked like real life lmao
