I mean, it's meant to be appealing to the video essay fanbase and "normies" who may have heard of BAYC in casual convo, so I get why it has a dramatized/edgy creepypasta slant to it, because it makes it more interesting than someone plainly reading off a website

also unless you've been online for a long time and have been around certain parts of the internet, a lot of this stuff is weird and esoteric to the outside viewer, so it takes a lot of exposition, which is why i think this video is so long
