lets be real 99% of the hype and energy around these was just idiots thinking they would get rich and disingenuous celebrities hyping it for their own gains. The motives of the creators could range from trolling to serious nazi idolisers but the symbolism being there isn't going to create some new wave of nazism among most of these consumers. Would be interesting to see the creators grilled in interview rather than their PR girl

i do believe that there is deep nazi rhetoric embedded within these NFTs, however, this rhetoric was so DEEPLY embedded that i think this video, if anything, helps the company more than anything

people who already hated NFTs will feel vindication i guess, but obviously nothing will change and i doubt many celebrities will care or even know about this

i personally believe that this video will make right leaning/alt-right people appreciate bored apes more, perhaps even persuade them to get one so they will be in on the joke.

i understand what the creator of the video was intending and despite a few stretches here and there, he is correct, however ultimately his best intentions have just shined light on something so deeply embedded and hidden that it was nothing more than a sick inside joke it has now been given a spotlight for alt right individuals to defend NFTs even further

Most times, these racist or Nazi memes from 4chan posters are a way to use racist rhetoric to influence people in general for whatever social goals.They try to normalize a lot of these jokes as just harmless images when in reality they're equally as racist as the images made 50 years ago. Get them hooked in and you can form another alt-right or loser recruit

Sure you can't get a whole country behind your back to push an ideology or thought process, but you for sure have a large online presence to assist you
