West coast just does their own thing bro. They are geographically cut off from the rest of the U.S. and it’s really just LA and The Bay when it comes to cities.

The mustard sound kinda took off back in the 2010’s but as a whole they haven’t had much influence on other regions. I will say though that I feel like Cali and Houston had love for each other back in the 90’s and their music has similarities
