All I did was copy my exam questions. The exam questions were online and all I did was copy the exam questions and paste them in the answer box. There was literally tracing assistants walking around monitoring our computers.!

Because I was confused and didn’t know how to answer the problems. On top of that, it doesn’t state that you can’t copy the questions. I was just tying to break down the problem.

Why didn’t you just tell them to open the exam again for you and you will take it right in front of him and show what you did (use a basic MacBook convenience feature)

Wait, how did you copy text from an image? Maybe explain how you did that to them, make them understand. And tell them how tf it makes sense for you to cheat or whatever they're accusing you of, for a D+

I feel like it's very easy to clear yourself and repeat this process in front of them to show this process.

Schedule an appointment with the dean or the academic counselling dept and show them how u copied the q from the image using ur MacBook. Maybe they're not aware of this new feature in MacOS.

Try to show proof of everything to help plead your case. You mentioned that you do this regularly, maybe bring this up along with proof if available.

Now that I think about it, I saw him posting in a Drake thread last night.

I have explained in through emails and they’re not being very responsive. I have contacted two separate computer science deans, one of them found no wrongdoing on the professors behalf and another one is waiting to try and figure out what to do about my grades being changed.

Yea it’s a cool feature on MacBooks especially when you’re in a hurry/trying to paste something. I’m going to just keep emailing them and try to setup some sort of meeting.

Maybe I’ll screenshot the text being copied and send it as an attachment because they’re using the cheating allegations to avoid fixing their mixes on my earlier assignments.

I’d try attaching a file containing a screen recording demonstrating what you did.

Allows potential future clarity for yourself and any others (the email states other students have done similar).
